Combining stumpwork, goldwork and surface embroidery techniques, this circular panel is worked on an ivory silk background with silks, gold metallic threads and beads. The design comprises a stylised pomegranate flower with detached petals, surrounded by a border of beaded prunus blossoms.
The finished piece may be framed or inserted into the base of a glass paperweight.
